O God our Father, we thank you for the Diocese of Mamfe and what you have enabled us to do so far. We thank you for the lives of the first Missionaries, who in response to the call of Your Son Jesus Christ, implanted the gospel among us.
Lord Jesus Christ, You are God who became man so that You may reconcile us with the Father. It was You who commanded Your apostles to ‘Go out to the whole world and proclaim the Good News’. We are in the age of the new evangelization and many parts of our diocese are still awaiting the Gospel. Be our leader, so that Your Word may spread to all the corners of our Diocese.
O Holy Spirit, You are the Lord and the giver of life; we invite you to be the guide of our efforts towards a new evangelization in the Diocese of Mamfe. Be the light that will convert those who are not yet converted, that will illumine and bring back fallen Christians and that will strengthen the struggling Christians not to lose heart.
O God, bless our Bishop, and endow him with the grace of a good shepherd; that he may have a strong faith and lead us to worship God in Spirit and in Truth;
Bless all the Priests, Religious, Consecrated Laity, Catechists and Apostolic Workers, that they may be true witnesses of Christ to the world;
Bless our Diocese with good Christian families, responsible Youth, an increase in vocations to the priesthood and religious life and a dedicated Laity;
Bless all our efforts towards the material growth of the diocese and increase our resources to keep alive our commitment to evangelize.
May all among us who have died marked with the sign of faith, share in the life of the Angels and Saints in heaven forever and ever.
